Get To Know Your Local Bloggers Series Starts Tonight

In early November I wrote this post linking to all of the local deal/frugal bloggers that I was aware of.  There are currently 29 listed.  I got so much positive feedback from that post that I brought up the idea of highlighting a local blogger each week so that we can get to know our local bloggers a bit better and choose which blogs we would like to follow!  I also got a lot of positive feedback from that post so starting today I am going to be featuring one local blogger every Monday as well as one local blogger every Thursday.

I have sent out interviews to the first dozen bloggers that will be featured and have asked them to answer any questions that they would like (I may have went a little crazy with all of the questions) to fill out.  Some bloggers may choose to not participate in the interview at all so although I would love to have an interview to go with each blogger that will be featured, I can’t guarantee it.  So far everyone has been gracious enough to take the time to answer my interview questions.  Either way I will at least give you my opinion on their site and as much information as I can on what their site is about.

I am also going to be running a coupon giveaway for each blogger and all you have to do is “follow” their blog in some way (Rss feed, facebook, email subscription, Twitter or any other way that they may have set up for readers to follow them) and then leave a comment on their blog letting them know that “Mom’s Coupon Affair” sent you and any other comments that you may have about their post/blog.  So that I can keep track of entries, I will then need you to come back here and leave a comment on that bloggers interview post letting me know that you did all of the above. So to recap:

1. Choose a way to “follow” the featured bloggers site
2. Leave a comment on one of their blog posts saying something similar to “Mom’s Coupon Affair sent me”
3. Leave a comment on their featured blog post on THIS SITE (MomsCouponAffair.com) letting me know that you did everything required to enter.

If the blogger is featured on Monday then that coupon giveaway will be open for entries until that Thursday at 11:59PM EST and if the blogger is featured on a Thursday then entries will be open through that Sunday at 11:59 PM EST.

The winner of each coupon giveaway will receive an envelope of coupons.  The amount of coupons that will be won depends on the amount of people that enter each giveaway.  I will start each envelope off with 15 coupons and one coupon will be added for every person that enters!

I hope that you all enjoy getting to know the local bloggers!  I think that I can speak on behalf of all of us when I say that we want nothing more then to help you and your family save money and enjoy life without all of the added stress that money can cause!  All bloggers LOVE comments so be sure to shower them with love and maybe click on an ad or two on their site (sometimes just clicking on them gives them a few cents without having to buy anything!) or try and use one of their referral links to show your support of thier site!
