I have mentioned several times now (and had a few giveaways) that I am a Purex Insider. It is a program for bloggers to learn about new products by Purex and the other brands associated with them and then share their opinions and free coupons with their blog readers. It really is a great program and I love any time that I can get you guys free stuff especially products that I would recommend. My Opinion:
I had never used Borax before receiving it to review but I had heard that it has a ton of uses and the most popular seems to be for homemade laundry detergent. I first heard about it on The Duggars! I haven’t made the laundry detergent yet since I still have a few bottles in my stockpile but I plan to try it in the future. I did however use borax as a detergent booster when we had to wash some clothes at the laundromat. I hate washing anything there because I always feel like no matter what our clothes have that metallic smell from the machines. I wasn’t sure if adding Borax to the load with my detergent would help get rid of that smell but I tried anyway. It worked! Our clothes actually smelled like the scented detergent that I used. I have also used the 20 Mule Team Borax to help lift stains from my rug. With my two little guys running around all the time, there are MANY spills and stains. I have a few other tasks that I want to try the Borax with as well.
